CABA, the wellbeing charity for chartered accountants has appointed Kaaeed Mamujee as its new president.
Mamujee will oversee the implementation of the newly launched 5-year strategy which will position CABA at the forefront of “benevolence”.
Kath Haines, CEO of CABA, said: ‘I am delighted that Kaaeed has become CABA’s President and I look forward to working with him in the future.
“Kaaeed’s considerable experience will help to drive CABA’s goals and ambitions to ensure that all chartered accountants and their families that need to seek mental health and wellbeing advice are being supported. Kaaeed is committed to helping more members of the ICAEW community.”
Mamujee added: “ I am delighted to take on the presidency of CABA and to be able to contribute directly to a cause that makes a real difference to the lives of so many of our fellow chartered accountants and their families. Over the course of my presidency, I want to use the full force of the charity to further break down the stigma surrounding mental health.
“I will focus on raising awareness of the support that’s available and highlighting the importance that an employer plays in employee mental health through their wellbeing strategies, mental health initiatives and their ability to provide the best care and support in the workplace.”
